Stage & Tech Summer Camp
This camp offers a hands-on study to students interested in the backstage world of theater. Led by our Technical Director, students will work on:
Scenic design (allocating set pieces, set construction, and painting),
Props (allocating & making if necessary),
Learning the basics of light and sound,
Learning the basics of stage crew & stage management.
Plus students will work jobs in the tech booths and/or backstage during tech rehearsals and two live performances.
Lunch & Snacks: Students must bring a healthy lunch + two snacks each day. Bring a water bottle with your child's name on it. NO glass bottles.
Appearance: Students are required to wear black pants or shorts, a black top (t-shirt, leotard, or tank top), and black shoes or sneakers secured with laces or velcro. No open-toe shoes, flip-flops, sandals, or crocs. Clothing must be appropriate for movement. (ex: carrying items, climbing, crawling, standing). Hair must be pulled back and away from the face.

Pre-Show Pizza Dinner Party on the last Friday. We'll provide pizza & bottled water for a team building dinner with the production + stage & tech students between the end of camp and the performance that evening.
Two complimentary performance tickets. Additional tickets available to purchase at $7.00/person.
*NOTE: Students must be registered before June 1st to receive a complimentary t-shirt. All others may be purchased for an additional fee of $15.00.

TUITION: $560.00 (with current Annual Registration)
WHEN: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; August 4-15, 2026 (Monday-Friday) ** Plus two performances
**PERFORMANCES: 6:30 p.m.; Friday, August 15 + 10:00 a.m.; Saturday, August 16

ANNUAL REGISTRATION POLICY: All participants must pay an annual registration fee ($20 for one or more students within the same family) to participate in a workshop/camp. Valid from July 1st through June 30th annually.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Minimum of 3 weeks prior to class: Full refund minus the annual registration fee.
2 weeks prior to class: Refund minus $75 administrative fee and $20 annual registration fee.
First day of class or later: No refund.
