ONE DAY PRODUCTION CHALLENGE
CHALLENGE: Students will work on preparing a show-ready production of the 15-Minute Wizard of Oz in one day.
The script has been selected. The Director has been chosen. Now it's up to our students to be performance ready in less than seven hours in this whirlwind one day workshop! Students will be put through a quick placement audition process (all students will perform in the show), memorize all lines & blocking, work on character development, costume themselves according to their character from materials supplied to them, and be show-ready (off book) for the performance for friends & family at the end of the workshop. This is a fast-paced workshop where students will be put through the paces of putting together a performance-ready production in seven hours. Students should be intermediate - advanced level in order to be able to accomplish everything within the time allotted. This will be race against the clock to the finish. Can you handle the challenge?
Lunch & Snacks: Students must bring a healthy lunch each day and two snacks each day. Bring a water bottle with your child's name on it.
Appearance: Students are required to wear black pants or shorts, a black top (t-shirt, leotard, or tank top), and black dance shoes or sneakers secured with laces or velcro. No open-toe shoes, flip-flops, sandals, or crocs. Clothing must be appropriate for dancing/movement. Hair must be pulled back and away from the face.
AGES: 12 - 18 (Level: Intermediate - Advanced)
TUITION: $75.00 (with current membership)

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP POLICY: All participants must be current members of CTA ($20 for one or more students within the same family). Valid from July 1st through June 30th annually.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Minimum of 3 weeks prior to class: Full refund minus the membership fee.
- 2 weeks prior to class: Refund minus $75 registration fee and membership fee.
- First day of class or later: No refund.
