Behind the Scenes Workshop - COSTUMES

Behind the Scenes workshops are a great way to discover modern theatre practice, helping you learn about all the aspects of theatre that take place behind the scenes! Participants in this workshop will look at characters from select plays/shows. They will take a look at the role of a costume designer and consider what a costume says about the character (i.e. - time period, style, class, genre, color selection). Participants will design a costume for a character.

AGES: 10 - 18

WHEN: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 10, 2018

TUITION: $60.00 (with current CTA Membership)

TEACHING ARTIST: Linda Swann is a nine-time WATCH nominee for her costume designs and a two-time winner. She's an active performer, teaching artist, costume designer, and AACPS teacher. Restrictions

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP POLICY:

All participants must be current members of CTA ($20 for one or more students within the same family). Valid from July 1st through June 30th annually.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Minimum of 3 weeks prior to class: Full refund minus the membership fee.
2 weeks prior to class: Refund minus $75 registration fee and membership fee.
First day of class or later: No refund
