Musical Theatre Production Workshop (ages 7-14)
Super Happy Awesome News! A virtual musical
In this online workshop students will learn actor's warm-ups, learn about theatre terminology, work on character development, and more. Classes will be held in an online group setting.
SYNOPSIS: Two siblings launch rival good news networks and find themselves competing for the title of happiest news show. Soon, their correspondents are in a whirlwind of ecstatic musical reporting – from joyful weather forecasts, to cheerful cooking segments and blissful political updates! But, when vulnerability starts peeking through the euphoric facade, they’re left wondering: is there room for raw honesty on a super happy broadcast? This new virtual musical (designed specifically to be rehearsed and performed remotely), incorporates real stories from kids age 7-14, offering a positive outlet for them to express their emotions.
AGES: 7-14
LEVEL: Beginner-Intermediate
SESSION 1: 5:00-6:00 p.m.; Wednesdays, October 28-December 2, 2020*
SESSION 2: 6:30-7:30 p.m.; Wednesdays, October 28-December 2, 2020*
* Miss Tiffany will split students into one of two sessions & notify everyone via email.

TUITION: $50.00 per student (Annual Registration Fee waived.)
TEACHING ARTIST: Tiffany Shannon Productions LLC. Miss Tiffany has been studying dance & theatre for over 30 years. She has performed professionally in MD & VA by the age of 10. She has trained at Towson University, The Studio Theatre in DC, AACC, Palomar College and CA University in San Marcos.
