MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE WORKSHOP 2
Get ready to join in an innovative and exciting dance class that will prepare the students for their next audition/musical dance show. Students will learn basic terms and technique in ballet, tap, jazz & more as well as work on their flexibility. You will be taught intermediate level dances to well known Broadway show tunes. A performance will be on the last day during class time. Be prepared to put your best foot forward and have fun in this educational and dynamic class!
NOTE: Students must wear closed toe shoes (dance shoes preferred) and clothing that easily allows for full range of movement. Hair should be up and back off the face. Bring a water bottle.

INSTRUCTOR: Anwar Thomas has been an actor, choreographer, & educator throughout Central Maryland for the past 15 years. He is a Helen Hayes nominee for Best Choreography of a Musical for his work on “The Color Purple” at Toby’s Dinner Theater (2013). No stranger to teaching youth, Anwar served as choreographer for multiple Anne Arundel & Prince George’s County public schools and CCTA (touring & resident group of young theater professionals at Toby’s).
