MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE WORKSHOP (ages 6 - 10)
Join this innovative and exciting dance class that will prepare your students for their next musical theatre audition / show. Students will work on their flexibility plus learn basic terminology and techniques in ballet, jazz, and more! A demonstration performance will presented be on the last day during class time. Put your best foot forward and have fun in the process in the educational and enjoyable class!
NOTE: Hair should be up and back off face. Students must dress appropriately for movement. Shoes should be either dance shoes or sneakers secured with laces or velcro. No open-toe shoes, flip-flops, sandals, or crocs. Bring a water bottle.
AGES: 6 - 10
LEVEL: Beginner - Intermediate
WHEN: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; Saturdays, January 25 - February 29, 2020. Performance: 11:30 a.m.; February 29.
TUITION: $120.00 with current Annual Registration Fee
TEACHING ARTIST: Megan Murphy received her BA in Musical Theatre from James Madison University & received additional training at HB Studios, TVI Actor’s Studio, Broadway Dance Center, plus Joy of Motion Dance Center. She has performed professionally with Equity & regional theaters; Norwegian and Commodore cruise lines; and many theme parks including Walt Disney World Entertainment, Busch Gardens, & Hershey Park.
