A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, a boy and his insect friends take an amazing journey across the ocean.

SYNOPSIS: Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach JR. is a brand new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.

Restrictions

Online ticket sales are stopped 2 hours prior to show time.
Tickets are available at the theater Box Office starting one hour before show time.
Tickets will be held at Will Call for patrons until show time.
If the performance is sold out, any tickets that have not been picked up at the start of the performance will be released at that time on a first come, first served basis.
In the event of inclement weather we will re-schedule your ticket/s to the following weekend or a later make up performance date. Show cancellation details will be announced on our website, voice mail, and social media.

SEATING POLICY: Seats are guaranteed only until curtain time. Latecomers may have to wait to be seated until an appropriate break in the performance. Children's Theatre of Annapolis reserves the right not to seat latecomers if an appropriate time is not available to do so. Latecomer seating is at the discretion of the House Manager.
